Wow! Over 2 Years and 1 Kid Later! Recap

My last post was almost 3 years ago! I took a break from blogging to focus on school. That’s right, I went back to college (again)! I’m working on getting a degree in Accounting (and rocking a 4.0). In all reality, my life is more chaotic right now than it was when I quit blogging, but I get things done. This post will be a little recap of things that have happened in my life since I last blogged, which I will probably go into more detail about later. It won’t be very organized as I recall nearly 2 years of mayhem, so bear with me. 🙂

I went back and read all of my posts, since it’s been so long and cleaned up my site, deleting broken links and such. My very last post on December 31, 2014 I talked about New Year’s resolutions and I have a secret that I was too chicken to share with you then! I’ll tell you the whole story later, but my big resolution was to quit smoking. I was scared to share it in case I failed, but I didn’t! I’ve now been a NON-smoker for 2 years and almost 10 months! As far as being more productive, I was a full time student and taking care of my 3 boys, cleaning house, cooking, etc. I’d say I was more productive.

I home-schooled my kids for a year. Let’s just say that task just isn’t for me! One good thing to come of this is that I learned what anxiety was and that it’s what I’ve been dealing with my whole life. This should get it’s own paragraph, but I don’t want to get into all that just yet. It has been something that comes and goes through my life pretty regularly since I was a teenager (possibly a kid).

Let’s see, another major life changer… I had a pregnancy scare, which resulted in the most beautiful baby girl who completes our family (of 6). It also caused me to distance myself from the Lord out of fear. More to come on this topic, I’m sure.

Our sweet baby girl was born with a dislocated hip, which is better now. She is also strong-willed, happy, hilarious, brilliant, and the most difficult child I’ve had the privilege of raising. 😉 She will come up a lot in the future, because she’s a spunky little booger with quite a temper for a 9 month old!

This summer I started a new business venture that is actually proving successful! I’m so excited to share about this, but I will wait!

That’s certainly not all that has happened in almost 3 years, but that’s most of the big stuff! Thanks for reading. Please leave me a comment and share this post! Thanks! <3
